“Gestures” is my third album. My goal with my music in this time was to find full creative freedom by ignoring all rules. First i would make a concept. Then throw it away and get to the real work. All the nonsense was thrown away so i could start with a open mind. Most of the compositions are made on my hardware setup. A korg minilogue, TD3, RD9 and the elektron Digitakt as the mastermind.

The album is named gestures because i felt like the album had 2 sides. “Gestures” as in movements, so for example walking, running, jumping etc. But also in the way of a sign. Of freedom, oppression and more.

SETUP

Setup is my second album. It was the first time i used my hardware to create music. I was trying to find boundaries and just experiment with the gear. I listened to a lot of techno and hardgroove at this time and wanted to create my own way in this style of music.

CARE (EP)

Care EP, was for me personally the first release which for i did promotion and an release event (see portfolio). I was really inspired by the melodic techno which i heard for the first time at Woodstock69′ in Bloemendaal aan Zee. I still like this song till today because some of the things in the tune have a really funny story to it.
